About the Vampire
Hello! You may call me Vesper, I am the Vampire who dwells here. I am a Slavic omnist pagan, aswell as a practitioner of witchcraft and divination. I really love bats, spiders and such little critters, though I do have a fear of wasps (still trying so hard to persevere and be nice to them :sob:) My timezone is GMT+3! I'm also amab, gay and feminine! I primarily use he/him pronouns but am fine with other ones. I am most active on my discord and twitter. (unfortunately..)
How would I describe myself?
What is my essence? I would like to believe that I am someone who tries their hardest to embody both the brain AND the heart, as you should not put emotion over logic or vice versa. You need to balance them. If you believe in tarot, this may reflect in me having The Devil card alongside The Lovers, truly mirroring myself in my light and shadow. The creation of this site
Was the 16th of April 2026: a date I will treasure forever. And you may be asking:Why did you make this site?
Well, my reason is not that different from the many other people on the internet who may try and breach the limitations placed on them by modern social media. I am someone who appreciates structure and reason, so while I don't vehemently hate the current social media profiles available, there is simply nothing like creating your own, beautiful mess for others to see! Something to really show who you are.I also made this site because I wanted to explore the "vampire aesthetic" considering I am Slavic myself! I was always entranced by these mystical, sometimes beastly or tragic creatures of the night, be it creatures that share Vampirism, or cryptid beings like the Hide-Behind. I liked the darker, bloodier side and the various meanings behind using vampire or bat imagery.
If you were on discord in the year 2020-2021, you would notice "aesthetic" servers started popping up a lot more, as well as carrds. People had a desire to express themselves and felt freer to do so than in centuries. It's safe to say I participated in making these little carrds or servers, sometimes for myself, other times for people or to experiment , like how I am doing now! But I always wanted to be more clever. Hide secrets, decorate AROUND a site profile, which was either not possible for free, or almost impossible entirely.
